As a young child, I remember my dad washing cars. He had always kept them really clean. So as I got older, I too wanted to keep my car clean.
About 30 years ago I had bought my first car. It was a 1969 Cutlass Convertible. But, it was the biggest rust bucket ever! Wow! There was maybe 20% of the paint left to wash and wax. But it was the shiniest spot on the car, ever!
Since then, I have owned many cars, boats, trucks plus motorcycles.
In the last 13 years, however, I have been able to own one of my favorite cars, the Corvette. I have had the years 1978, 1988 and recently a 2005. People always stop and ask me how do I keep the car looking so nice?
"Well, I enjoy detailing, whether it be cars, boats or whatever."
And that is how I got started. My first start was working out of my house about 3 years ago.
Now I have my own shop, tools, and 3 other detailers working with me. We have built up a list of clientele and it's still growing.
Still to this day , I love shining up cars!
